Fort is an important landmark of the Chennai city and the museum it houses holds precious history, maintained excellently by ASI. Sriraman is presently in-charge of the Fort Museum and has carried out extensive work in it to make the visit to the Museum memorable.

In order to make the Museum visible and also participate in its development, Friends of Fort Museum is formed by ASI.
